In the blink of an eye (or two!), here’s the program for the All Saints' holiday!
In addition to the guided tours for "Migration Week," enjoy a variety of activities with creative workshops, family challenges, and storytelling walks.
Whether indoors or outdoors, artistic or nature-themed, to be enjoyed with family or solo, there is surely an activity that will delight you!

HORSE AND CARRIAGE TRIP

to the sound of hooves along the polder
Accompanied by Archibald, Brillant or Corail, our Boulogne draft horses, set off in a carriage to discover the Baie de Somme and its changing lights.
The coachman and the guide will explain to you how the Bay works and its tides while discovering the fauna and flora present on this protected estuary.

LES 4 SAISONS DE L'ORNITHOLOGIE - 100% TERRAIN

Whether you are curious about nature, new to ornithology, an observer of birds and nature on a daily basis, this training - visit is open to all without any necessary prerequisites.
Field observation of avifauna is based on the behavior of species (ethology) according to the seasons and the natural environments frequented.
Technical bases and personalized identification methods will be provided to you to be more independent and progress at your own pace.
Priority is given to observation, listening and discussions on the ground in a friendly atmosphere. 100% terrain and pleasure for the eyes

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP ON THE LOOKOUT

The introduction to the lookout is a great first experience to put yourself “in the skin and mind of a wildlife photographer”. A "turnkey" formula which allows you to use the Park's privatized hide, the entire site and its public observatories for the day and to benefit from the advice of a naturalist photographer guide who will reveal all his tips for ground.

LES SEMAINES DE LA MIGRATION

Guided tours before opening
A guide will help you discover the incredible phenomenon of bird migrations.
He will accompany you to the heart of the Park to tell you about the life of migratory birds for whom the great journey, despite all its dangers, is a condition of survival.

THE EXTRAORDINARY WORLD OF BIRDS

In search of the lost birdhouse
As a family, go fishing for clues to discover the secrets of the birds of the Parc du Marquenterre.
After a presentation at the viewpoint, the guide will let you go on a "naturalist mission".
Armed with your field notebook, the children will have to elucidate the enigmas by looking for clues in the observation posts or with the guides encountered on the course.
Once the mysteries have been solved, all the teams will gather around the guide to share their observations and take advantage of his explanations over a good snack at the heronry observatory.

PHOTO HIDE RENTAL

A resin hide is personally reserved for you to enter into the photographic intimacy of the birds.
Its location at water level allows for quality shots.
Throughout the seasons, ducks, spoonbills and waders are there.
The naturalist photographer guide will advise you during your reservation for the best period to choose according to your photographic wishes.

THE HIGH TIDES

Outing in the Baie de Somme, along the dyke of the Parc du Marquenterre, at high tide. These meetings with the high tides of high coefficient allow to discover the landscapes of the foreshore and the many animal and plant species that live there. This is the perfect time to observe the first gatherings of migratory birds in transit and chased by the waves.

INTRODUCTORY WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Accompanied by the beautiful atmosphere of sunrise and a specialized and passionate guide, the Park offers you an immersion in the world of wildlife photography.

Starting with naturalist knowledge then moving through creativity (framing, composition) and mastery of settings, experience a half-day rich in nature education.

At sunrise, the Park is closed to the public and we favor the terrain to enjoy the best lights in an unusual setting.
The outings are punctuated by some knowledge assessments in the classroom and by a breakfast.
